Michelle Wedge, 7, disappeared on July 2nd, 1975

The summer of 1975 was carefree for most families in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Although the recent recession left many people out of work, there were backyard BBQs, cold beer and Captain & Tennille’s “Love Will Keep Us Together” — the #1 song in Canada that summer. Kids played on the street, in each other’s back yards, or at the park.

Those innocent days were shattered with the disappearance of 7 year-old Michelle Wedge on July 2nd.

All three were determined to be victims of homicide, and the cause of death and murder characteristics were similar enough that law enforcement believe they were all murdered by the same killer. The serial killer, however, has never been found.

Mother & Daughter Missing for Years

Linda Daniel, 48

Cheyenne Daniel, 13

When friends and family realized they has not seen or heard from Linda Daniel or her thirteen-year-old daughter, Cheyenne, in more than four years, they reported them missing to the Waterloo Police Department.

Representatives from the school board reported they had been contacted by “someone” in 2011, and told Cheyenne’s family was moving out of the province and she would not be returning to Linwood Public School.

What happened to the mother and daughter would eventually turn into a battle of forensics and escalating courtroom drama.

Thrill Killer Dellen Millard

Dellen Millard, along with his accomplice Mark Smich, is serving two consecutive 25 year sentences for the first-degree murders of Laura Babcock and Tim Bosma. He alone will be facing another trial for the murder of his father, Wayne Millard, in the fall of 2012.

Millard was born into a wealthy aviation family. His grandfather started his own charter airline, MillardAir, in the 1960s based out of Toronto Pearson International Airport.
