Circumstances
On October 8, 2019, Devan Selvey, 14, was stabbed to death outside of Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario, as his horrified mother looked on.
His family claims that Selvey was experiencing bullying at school and had reached out for help.
Four people, all teenagers, have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder. The youths are a 14-year old male, a 16-year old male, a 16-year old female, and an 18-year old male. All were either students or past-students on the high school.
On social media posts, it was reported that Selvey was jumped by a group of kids and had also had his bike stoled in September, 2019.
Investigations are on-going.
