On Sunday, October 20, 2002, at about 2:23 a.m., police responded to a 911 call in the area of Adelaide Street West and Peter Street.

The victim was discovered in a parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to hospital, where he died shortly after arrival.
